Masaba on Myntra.com

I was pleasantly surprised to see one of my favourite designer Masaba Guptas collection on Myntra.com. One of my free time browsing on the Myntra app (this is my favourite pass time to browse through all online shopping apps) I discovered this collection . When we hear about Masaba the first thing that comes to our minds is quirky prints.

I have always wanted to have one of her collections in my wardrobe but ofcourse the pricing would always make me think twice if I should really be indulging myself in such garments and a inner voice would always tell me ... not yet ....please wait ...hehe and there I would stop dreaming about the same. But this collaboration with Myntra’s leading in-house ethnic wear brand, Anouk, made me jump with joy , cause this trendsetting signature line ‘Masaba for Anouk’ is available at very affordable price points. You have too see it to believe it !!!! . I really admire designers like Masaba who try to reach out to people like us through such collaborations. More designers must do such stuff ... Don't u agree ladies. Atleast we can have the pleasure of hoarding each designer label without burning our pockets .

I shopped for three garments and dreamt about the same till my package arrived from Myntra. I was quite thrilled with the packaging , a bright pink pencil design typical Masaba print on the shopping bag. I am a big fan of product packaging and sometimes pick stuff jus cause I like the packaging ...he he....I know it's insane but I have hoarded some shopping boxes and bags of accessories , perfumes , shoes etc.

So I picked up this blue lock and key print shrug and these really chic dhoti pants . I jus love these fusion clothing. I wore the lock and key printed shrug with the chequered dhoti pants.

I feel this look is very striking and one can carry this look from day to night from a power lunch to an evening with friends. These dhoti pants are soo comfortable and since its a bit high waisted it really hides your tummy flab and gives a little flatter look on your midriff. So don't be afraid to try these ladies. Always pair such outfits with high heels it gives a good posture to our body and the outfit looks more graceful and I feel heels always makes your body look leaner. This shrug I combined with this black top from my wardrobe. You could also wear a color block like a peach or red or yellow singlet to give that edgy look and go minimal on the accessories. I accessorised this outfit with these chunky earrings which i already had in my accessory collection and it really went well with this outfit.
