New Beginnings

Hey all !! How have you all been . I know i have been missing in action here. Although i have tried to be active on Instagram , but i have-not really written a blog for quite some time now. Well read on and you will know why.

So as the title of my blog suggests "New Beginnings" , i have started something new in my life since the past 2 months. Thats whats keeping me occupied and therefore i have not been able to concentrate on my blog. But no excuses on that front , i am going to try to be more regular here.

We all come to a stage in life where stagnation creeps in and we don't know which path to take. I am sure you all must have experienced this. I have dabbled in various careers starting from my Advertising Agency stint for 10 years , then an Accessory Designer and Entrepreneur for 6 years to trying my hands on Fashion Styling Projects and of-course then starting this blog. But then i started feeling stagnant and blocked as to where i am aheading in my career path. I started feeling the need to add a professional skill set to what i have been doing so far .Getting myself a professional education was the only way forward. I have always been someone who has been academically inclined and going back to a classroom always excites me. More so when the course you have chosen is something you are passionate about.

After researching various courses and institutes , I got myself enrolled into an

Image Management Course at the Indian School Of Image Management (Mumbai).

For those of you who don't know what Image Management is ....simply put Image Management / Image Consultants facilitate the authentic and optimal development of individuals on appearance , behaviour and communication skills. As an image consultant you hold the power to transform your clients, to look magnificent on the outside, feel amazing on the inside, and create the life they desire.

I feel it encompasses all what i have been doing so far and adding much more on my plate to broaden my horizons. I believe nothing in life goes wasted . All your experiences and the lessons you learn , the mistakes you make and the roller coster ride you have had all makes sense when you look back.

"You are never too old to set

another goal or dream a new dream"

I am a firm believer of this quote . Like this quote suggests ....There is no age to start learning and start chasing your goals. Its never too late or early to start afresh. Everything you do from this moment on is all a new beginning.

I cant even begin to tell you guys that i am only half way through my course but yet the confidence it has given me is unbelievable. Knowing something just out of passion and then knowing the technical aspects of the same makes a huge difference to your knowledge. Its been such a joyful and wonderful learning experience past 2 months. Very soon my course will get over and i will be adding one more feather to my cap. Cant wait to get started and empower and groom and polish all those

who need my skills.

Meanwhile i have implemented some learnings on myself. Style and Fashion being one of the subjects of my course. But before i implement it on my future clients i need to practice all my learnings on myself.

Shot this "GIRL BOSS" office wear look. I realized i haven't done an office wear look before. I am wearing this Striped Blazer Suit from Primark Stores , which i picked up when i went on my holiday to Austria in May this year. Primark is not a store where you would find formal outfits as such , but i guess Blazer Sets have been soo trending this year thats why i found this there.

Vertical stripes create length and gives a slimmer look on my kind of body type. The trousers are high waisted and works well when one needs to hide those not soo toned abs...hahah. Black accessories adds the much required power to the over all GIRL BOSS look. I picked up this rectangle black bag from this boutique brand call Musette in Budapest . Hungarian leather is supposed to be very good and this bag which is pure leather ...is a good example of good quality Hungarain leather . You gotta smell it ....to believe it haha...i am a big fan of all things made from pure leather. And ofcourse this outfit demands those high heeled black court shoes. After all you gotta stand out and stand tall like a typical GIRL BOSS.
