Super excited to present my first festive post. Diwali has always been a special and favourite festival for me. Love the spirit of this Festival of Lights jus makes me feel very positive. Right from my childhood days I have always looked forward to this part of the year. Shopping being the major attraction for me since childhood . Playing dress up was I think the most vital part of my life and gave me immense happiness. I remember my early childhood days I used to drag my mom for Diwali clothes shopping and later in teens and college days friends would accompany. I Have spent too much time and energy and creative thoughts to get one special outfit made for this big festival of the year. Recently I was reminded by my one of my school friend about one such outfit which my friend and I shopped for Diwali during my college days and how my mom had thrown a fit cause I had over shot my shopping budget ... good old days those were.
When it comes to Indian wear my favourite label has always been Astitva ( I had spoken about this label in my first blog ). I choose this floor length floral print ankarkali for my Diwali look. This year has been all about the floral prints. I personally am in love with this trend though I know it's been over done and been around for long time this year . But hey I just started my blog and my love for florals demands a mention once in my blog . I loved the colours on this outfit . Peach and Rose pink are anyways my favourite colour pallets so it was not a very difficult choice for me to pick this outfit . I loved the mirror work borders ...its soo beautiful and love the way it's been coordinated with this floral print.

SOME TIPS ;
Floral prints can be worn by women of all shapes, but if you are on the heavier side, opt for smaller prints. It is advisable to stay away from bigger prints if you're petite too. Make sure that you wear bright ones during the day, while darker shades make better options for evening wear.
When going floral with your garment, stick to single-hued footwear. Though print on print makes a great style statement, sticking to one colour footwear saves you from the risk of making a fashion faux pas.

Hope you are gonna all feel and look gorgeos this DIWALI. Dress your best and have a blast.

WISHING EVERYONE A VERY HAPPY DIWALI AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.
