HAPPY HIGH !!!!

Hey it's a been long since I have written a blog post. This year didn't began with a very good note with my mom being unwell and her hospitalisation in the beginning of January. Well all is good now as she has recovered and hope that the rest of the year goes well.

We are already in the second month of 2016 and it's crazy how days are just flying by. Personally I feel the beginning of new year is always boring as all the party and fun days are over by December and I feel there is nothing to look forward. But thankfully me and my friends had pre planned a weekend away in February to attend the much talked about SulaFest at Nasikh.

Most of you must be aware that this event takes place usually around this time of the year. I am just back from the fest which was over the weekend 6th and 7 th Feb. It was my first visit at the Sulafest and I must say I had an awesome time. So if you are really enthusiastic there is lots to do at the fest.This wine fest is not just for wine lovers but is also a treat for music lovers. Set in the beguiling Sula Vineyards this fest delights people not just by serving wine but it voluntarily intoxicates wine lovers with irresistible performers who play rock, folk, blues, electronic and reggae music.You can enjoy wine tasting to your hearts content, pamper yourself by getting a relaxing foot massage or simply enjoy stomping grapes. This gourmet fest also portrays a terrific variety of food to satisfy your taste buds.

One can enjoy an awesome blend of music at the open-air amphitheatre that makes the fest an unforgettable experience. Shopaholics can spice it up by visiting the incredible 'Sulafest Bazaar' which showcases a selection of carefully chosen items on sale. Also the event was sponsored by popular clothing brand Vero Moda and they had put up such a fantastic fashion show.I was really impressed by the styling of the clothes on the hot models as they made the clothes look really stylish and sexy. I was happy to see a mix of crowd as in people from across all age groups from toddlers and kids to grandparents. So it felt like a very happy place to be kind of vibe there.

One can see lot of interesting fashion here. I like observing people and must say both men and women most of them were fashionably dressed. Since it was going to be pleasantly cold at the vineyards I choose to wear this grey knit dress which I had recently picked up from Forever 21. I loved the pattern of this dress - the tie up blet on the waist gave an imression as if i have tied a sweater around my waist....dont you think. I styled this dress with a bright coral pink shrug from H&M which was a perfect cover up for the weather there.

As we were going to spend the entire day there I wanted to have a comfortable footwear so I wore these basic canvas shoes which is actually designed by me. I had painted this pair of shoes three years back and had ornamented it with the spikes and studs as you can see. You can contact me for your customised pair of shoes. I accessorised the outfit with a multicolour tassels necklace - I am a big fan of these tassels accessories and these are so much in trend now. This lemon yellow Kate Spade bag i borrowed from my friend for the shoot who was also my photographer for this day. This bag totally complimented the outfit.

Let me warn you guys that this blog is going to be bombarded with lots of pictures hahaha. There were soo many interesting backdrops and props which can make a picture interesting that I got carried away and had myself clicked at each and every spot. The whole ambience of the fest was soo colourful and bright that I could not resist but go click click click.

So girls I think you all had enough of me in this blog. As you can see all I did at Sulafest was to get myself clicked and had lots of varieties of wine which made me happy high at the end of day. This place had a great buzz and we all were in high spirits. You guys should try to make it next year.
