Hey Ladies !!! How you people doing ? With all the festivities beginning this month I am going to be presenting a lot of festive looks here on. In this blog post i am featuring this beautiful outfit from ASTITVA India. A little background about ASTITVA India....ASTITVA as it's name signifies Our Being, started with the thought of offering Indian art and craft with a modern appeal to global buyers . At ASTITVA they try to bridge the gap between the Indian artisans and buyers, by reviving many dying crafts of India. ASTITVAs product offerings range from timeless Indian ethnic ensembles, fine contemporary ethnic jewellery, rare Indian artefacts and accessories. Their curated collection is nothing less than an art shop.
I have been buying clothes from this brand since 8 years now i think. The designer couple duo Rajiv and Nirali are extremely talented and creative individuals both experts in their own fields. Rajiv is the brain behind the apparel collection while Nirali is the accessory designer. Over the years i have noticed that the essence of the colours of India is very beautifully showcased in all their collections. They have always maintained the Indianness in all their designs so far. For this festive season they have developed some really interesting designs keeping in mind the modern Indian woman.Understanding the sensibilities of todays Indian woman as she tries to juggle between family and work and balancing a harmonious life ...this fuss free fusion collection has been designed.
I fell in love with this Ikat print pocket dress which i am featuring today. This outfit gives a boho vibe. Bohemian style of dressing is something which i personally love. This style best expresses ones free spirit nature, which is my personality too :). So for this outfit i went all out boho as you will see. From styling my hair to the accessories its all very Bohemian. What i like about this outfit is the low waist line shape. For ladies who are conscious about their waistline and hips, this outfit is great as it is free flowing down the waist and hides all the flaws if you have broad waistline and hips. Also the floor length of the outfit gives a taller illusion to ones body structure.
The accessories i am featuring with this outfit is also by ASTITVA. They have made this interesting collection of neckpieces, finger rings, nose pins and patchwork handbags. The neckpiece and the finger ring is crafted with very old Rs 1 coins and the patch work handbags are made from patches handcrafted by the locals who reside at the Kutch borders. I really loved the colours on this handbag and it coordinated soo beautifully with this outfit. These round framed reflector sunglasses from Forever 21 i feel are adding a quirk element to this look. The Ikat hair band which is actually a piece of Ikat fabric i simply twisted and wore it like a hairband to give a boho hairdo look. Don't forget to check the nose pin...i am considering having one permanent nose pin pierced..what do you suggest people ???

Hope you ladies liked this colourful Boho Festive look. Do follow ASTITVA on Facebook by the name ASTITVA INDIA and on Instagarm @astitvaindia. As they are only available at exhibitions you can get a schedule of their forthcoming exhibition dates on their Facebook page.
