Hey what’s up people? So what have you guys been doing?

Talking about me I am sort of educating myself to learn more about this BLOGOSPHERE world I am into. Everything is so fast paced these days ... I sometimes have this fear of being left behind. There is so much happening around all the time with new technological developments, new apps , new games , new phones , cameras and other gadgets being developed and launched every single minute . Also with apps like Instagram and Snapchat I think one does not want to leave a single moment un-captured . Since I have now taken my blogging role seriously, I thought I might as well keep myself abreast with all the happenings in the digital world. Its always good to improve your self by learning something new...i am sure you all agree with me !!!

So how am I doing that...to begin with apart from reading stuff online and watching some self learning videos on youtube I have collaborated with this very young and efficient blogger consulting company called the "The Digital Rose" . This company fills up us bloggers with every information on how to up your blogging game. So if you are a blogger or wanting to be one and if you are reading this then one must definitely look at their website. The information and knowledge they share about the digital world is so useful and nothing less than an online digital marketing course. I learnt that as a blogger, its not only important to be good in the topic you choose to blog about e.g. in my case Fashion but its also important to know how to market your blog, the various tools you require to really make your blog visible and one must also all be aware of the digital language/jargons and whole lot of other stuff. Hey in this digital world they do speak a different language for e.g SEOS ( search experience optimization/search engine optimization) or KPI metrics (key performance indicators) or SMR (social media reputation)....what the hell is all this..i really had no clue about all this until sometime back. So you see how this language is ...it all sounded like Greek and Latin to me in the beginning. As a blogger you are not jus a pretty thing wearing pretty clothes and having awesome food and travelling to all exotic locations.... there has to be some substance too ,to really be there in the BLOGOSPHERE. Blogging is a serious business now and one can build an empire if you know what you are doing and follow that path correctly. Hoping I shall build one soon !!!

Speaking of technology ....it is playing such an important role even in Fashion. Some of you must be aware that Lakmé Fashion Week Winter Festive 2016 kicked off yesterday (24 th August 2016) in Mumbai. It is undoubtedly one of the major fashion events of our country. I noticed that this season Lakme Fashion Week has extensively used social and digital media to promote their event aggressively. Another unique thing, which has happened this year at the Lakme Fashion Week was this revolutionary concept by designer, Manish Malhotra. In another of his firsts, designer Manish Malhotra (who completes 11 years in the industry), went all out digital with India’s first virtual reality fashion show in collaboration with Etihad Airways. A virtual reality video of the show will be released that will allow people from all across the world to not just experience the show in all its glory but also gain 360 degree access to pre-show backstage moments as the well as the post show party. The show was shot using high end technology and will be reformatted for a virtual reality platform, and premiered in September. This show will break all geographical barriers and will give you the excitement of actually being present at the show. Isn't it really awesome and impressive !!!! Lethal combination it is ...this merger of Fashion and Technology...FASHTECH !!!!

About this outfit which I am featuring today there is really no connection to what I have spoken above. The only connection I can derive is that this style of outfit the T-Shirt Dress is in Trend like ...how Technology is always in Trend...this T-shirt dress has been the hottest Summer trends and i guess will continue to be in Fall too. Only thing the fabric and colours will be adapted to welcome the Fall Season. Though right now in India we are kind of experiencing a confusing time. In all the brands I noticed is that the Summer stock have disappeared and Autumn stock is flooding in, but hey we are not quite ready to embrace it yet. So talking about Autumn collections at stores across brands I visited Zara recently and picked up this T-shirt dress from the TRF section. The bold print on this dress is what actually attracted me to pick this up. Also i was happy to fit into size S ....oh yeah haha but this dress has a slightly boxy style which is a loose style and i guess thats why a smaller size was easy to fit in .But who doesn't like a smaller size label in their wardrobe ..hehe...a rare chance though...so i grabbed it !!!! The print on this dress is quite interesting... it has a a mix of lipstick , paisley, palm , evil eye...it gives a sort of psychedelic feel. The best part of this T-shirt dress style is that its like your shift dress which any body type can carry with ease. Since it doesn't take your body shape ...this style is so comfy and an easy good to go all day wear. Ideally i would have loved to style this dress with a pair of long black winter boots ....but hey its too early to do that ...we are still holding on to our rainy gumboots here ;) and didn't want to look silly. So i simply styled it with my formal pair of wedged heels shoes from Tory Burch. Also the TASSELS trend has been around for sometime and has been used a lot in accessories and clothing as trimmings. These earrings are a quick DIY creation which i quickly made to coordinate with my dress for this shoot. I had this neckpiece which had these tassels so i took them off from my neckpiece and attached it with an old pair of earrings... my love of accessories you see ;)
