Hi all. How are things with you guys? Its been a while i have done a blog post. Last month was very hectic, lots going on personal front and some ups and downs and then i had no one to do the shoot as my photographer friend was out of town etc. etc. etc. Such are the dramas of life and therefore could not manage to do a blog shoot. But one needs to move ahead in life in spite of all the happenings around..." The show must go on"...they say. So here i am back in the game!!!
We are in the midst of the festive season and also winters are around the corner. Yeh i know i know October is like really hot...thats why i said around the corner. I decided to combine both the factors in this look...as in festive and welcoming winters. When it comes to ethnic clothing i always look for unique fusion pieces. I normally don't like to dress in the authentic salwar kurta format. For me ethnic dressing also needs to have some quirk or twist. So i land up getting my hands on fusion or indo western styles. This ethnic dress i am featuring today is by this brand, Bombay Paisley which is available at Westside. This outfit is available in all sizes up-to size XL. The fit of this outfit is such that it will be suitable to all body types. I actually was tempted to pick the other color i.e. beige in this same design...yeh i do that if i like something and if they are in two different colors i want to have both..i am kind off greedy when it come to clothes and accessories...haha. Also i realised that i don't have many black outfits in my wardrobe. I somehow get attracted to colors and always end up buying vibrant colors. As we all know one must have a black outfit in your closet. Black is an all time classic color and you can never go wrong sporting this color. So i styled this black ethnic dress with oversized motive print pockets with a pair of boots from Zara to give that winter feel. I feel it just adds some chic element to this outfit which is otherwise simple and elegant. Also carried my favourite plaid bag from Burberry to complete the Fall look. I somehow associate plaid and deep red / maroon colors with Fall .By the way the beaded fringe choker i am wearing , i bought two of them..hehe...other one is in blue color, i just could not decide which is better and loved both the colors so yeh i picked both of them . So like i mentioned before i am a bit crazy when it comes to shopping....a Shopaholic !!! i guess. I can visualise some people who know me nodding their heads agreeing to what i said..haha.
For this shoot i have shot in two different locations. The indoor backdrop is one my friends apartment and the outdoor pics are at the Durga Pooja Pandal in Hiranandani. It’s amazing how this outfit and both the backdrops kind of complimented each other.
SO LADIES ...hope you like this look i created! Have a look at the pics.

Happy Dusshera to you guys !!!!!
