Beach Life - Look 1

Summers are here and how and the the temperatures are rising everyday. I feel this heat just drains away your energy to do your daily activities.Wish i could escape this summer wave and run away for few days to some cold land. But that is not happening , and i don't see it happening soon..sighh and i have to stay right here and face this.

If not a cold land then at least some place in this city can give us some respite. I thought the beach would be that place for me to breathe some cool fresh air. Not as cool as i would want it to be . Its a compromise i am making here. And hey by beach , i am not talking about heading out in the scorching sun, but in the evenings at least this beach side looked quite pleasant to me.

This blog post i have shot at Versova beach. Its sad that in spite of all the good things our city has, it has not been maintained. We are so blessed to have a beachfront, just wish that something interesting is done here for more people to take advantage and enjoy the beach life,. Well i can go on complaining and there will be no end to this topic. So let me focus on my blog post here.

So recently i collaborated with a bunch of very talented girls . A designer friend Prerna Punjabi , Make up Artist Anishaa Chhabria, Hair Stylist Mini Mahadik and Photographer Shailee Shah. It was a full on GIRL POWER team .We all wanted to showcase our respective creativity.

So we planned to do this photo shoot together .We worked on 6 different looks. It was a an outdoor shoot. We started off at 7 am in the morning and shot at various locations in Andheri, Mumbai. Fo me it was a fun experience as i have never shot 6 different looks in one day. I felt like a supermodel that day, while getting all dolled up and styled by these super talented girls. I experienced my moment of a being a glorified model that day...haha.. I had a blast doing this.

I will be showcasing two looks which are good for a sundown party and a cocktail party on a beach. Both the outfits are so easy breezy. You can dress it down or dress up depends on your mood and the occasion you are wearing them for .

In this blog post i am showcasing LOOK 1 .Prerna is known for her drape style patterns. I have never seen such amazing styles like how she comes up with .I have known Prerna since over 5 years now. I have seen her experiment with various drape styles . The beauty is she can customise these styles to any body type.

This outfits i feel is perfect for your early evening beach sundown party. Since the outfit was a nude colour Anishaa decided to go dark with the makeup with dark plum lips and glitter eyes with dark khol pencil. And to add a little dram, since this outfit was simple and classy, Mini added this head accessory with messy beach waves hair. And i was all set for a chilled out sundower
