Hi ladies !!! How are you guys doing. Hope you all are following my blog posts lately. In this blog post i am again showcasing one more outfit look from Prerna Punjabis collection. I have already spoken about our collaboration in my previous blog posts last week. So this is look 4 from the same series.
In this blog post the outfit i am wearing is a Polka print dress. Polka print is the most classic print ever and takes you back to the 1960s .Fads fade but vintage trends like polka dots never go out of fashion. Flirty, retro and whimsical, this print is something which is for ever.Polkas are a classic style that have evolved right from their first appearance on Minnie Mouse to today's glamorous and popular designs on runways and red-carpet events. It's a style for all seasons. Big, medium or small-sized, polka dots suit everyone.
What i like about this dress in the back pleated detailing .I found this design very unique. The whole beauty of this outfit is the long tail back detailing style .I also like the delicate belt which accentuates your waist line. Wear this for one of your luncheons and you are sure to make a statement with this one sided polka dress.
Since this outfit had the 60s retro feel , Anishaa : the makeup artist decided to go retro with the makeup too. Back in those days matt eyeshadow and extended winged eye liner was a big makeup trend .So she did that and also Anishaa wanted to focus on the lower lash line , so she used a white liner to define the same . She pulled the eyeliner towards the end to give it a double liner look. I absolutely loved this double liner monochrome look created with white and black eyeliner. Fuller lashes was another important element to this look to create that retro drama. Lips were muted with a brown nude to keep a balance and let the eyes be the focus feature.
For the hair do Mini : the hairstylist gave me this wavy one sided pony and to go with the retro 60s look, she gave me side bangs with a bouffant .
Have a look at the pictures and hope you get some fashion inspiration for your next 60s theme party !!!!
